Residence hall

The Léonard de Vinci residence hall, which is also known as "Rez" by the many Centrale students who live there is just a 10-minute walk from the school and a 5-minute walk from the metro.  It offers students a pleasant and social place to live.

This residence hall, which belongs to the Ecole Centrale Lille, has 581 places for Centrale Lille students and offers many services and recreational activities that enhance the housing experience for students.

The housing is fully operational on your arrival : the AGR (the residence hall management association) will welcome you and help you complete all the steps necessary to moving in: signing the lease agreement, doing the walk-through, and filling out the APLD financial aid file. Rental contracts are valid for one year, and can be renewed.



The Léonard de Vinci residence hall is comprised of six buildings surrounded by green spaces.  It offers single and double apartments


TYpes of apartments

Individual (18 - 20 m² / 195 - 215 sq. ft.): One room with a kitchenette and a bathroom with a toilet and a shower

Double apartment (40 m² / 430 sq. ft.): Two individual rooms with a kitchenette, a bathroom containing a shower and separate toilet.

Apartment equipment

Living area: Desk, book case with work surface, king-size bed with mattress, draw sheet, chair, bedside shelf or table, shutters and curtains on the ground floor, double curtains on the other floors.

Kitchenette: Refrigerator, cook top, cupboard, sink.

Bathroom: Shower, bathroom cabinet, sink, toilet.
